The Nursing profession is constantly seeking new eligible candidates to support a growing health care demand. In less than 18 months, the Health, Assistance and Nursing (HAN) program will provide you with the techniques, skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to be a vital part of a health care team. Graduates will be able to perform specialized tasks, including providing injections and medications, taking blood tests, applying sterile dressings, as well as other nursing related skills. The program combines learning modules and onsite training via our health care institution field placements. Our learning path includes training on care procedures, the different systems of the body, and how to adapt your nursing practice to meet the needs of patients of different age groups. Our program helps ease your transition into a health care setting by ensuring that you understand how to effectively communicate with patients and family members, while working as part of a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals.
A diploma could lead to careers in acute care hospitals, nursing homes and long-term care facilities, insurance companies, or as a first step to becoming a registered nurse. |
